About Blitzy

Blitzy is an AI software development platform on a mission to revolutionize the software development life cycle by autonomously building custom software to unlock the next industrial revolution. We're transforming how enterprises build software, turning enterprise requirements into production-ready code with an agentic software development platform that can autonomously execute 80% of the quantum of software development work. We're backed by tier 1 investors and built by repeat founders with a track record of scaling successful companies.

The Role

Blitzy is hiring a Contract Manager to own two workstreams: active deal support and Ironclad system work. You will be the first point of intake for all contracts across two deal tracks, manage our contract review vendor for enterprise deals, and control the templates the team uses.

This role requires smart risk judgment, knowing what to hold, what to concede, and when to escalate, with the confidence to act on that call. This is an opportunity to build and own the contract function at a high-velocity company where you'll shape the process as much as you execute it.

What You'll Do

Deal Support — All Deals

  • Triage all incoming deals. Set the track by customer type (enterprise or commercial) and route the work

  • Process inbound NDAs, security questionnaires, and business requirements documents

  • Prepare and process Order Forms in coordination with Sales and Finance

Deal Support — Commercial Track

  • Draft, redline, negotiate, and execute "as-a-Service" subscription agreements using the approved playbook

  • Escalate to Commercial Counsel as needed

  • Own continuity across all redline rounds

Deal Support — Enterprise Track

  • Send counterparty paper to our contract review vendor and manage that work throughout

  • Review output against Blitzy's playbook and decide what to redline, hold, or escalate

  • Escalate to Enterprise Counsel as needed

  • Own continuity across all redline rounds

Ironclad CLM Administration

  • Run Ironclad day-to-day: keep workflows current, manage access, update templates, and link with HubSpot for sales handoff and deal tracking

  • Optimize as the business grows

What You Bring
  • 4+ years of contract and deal work, in-house at a tech company preferred

  • Experience with SaaS and subscription agreements

  • Familiarity with US and EU privacy law (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) as it applies to contracts (BAAs, DPAs, SCCs)

  • Working knowledge of the Ironclad CLM platform

  • Comfortable negotiating with counterparties, raising objections, and finding compromise

  • Curious about the business and the product

  • Uses AI as a tool to support contract review responsibilities

  • Ability to handle multiple matters at once

  • Team player — Blitzy's contract model is unique and we build solutions together

  • Knows when to ask for help

  • Enjoys working in a high velocity, high growth environment

  • Will consider J.D. holders, though not required

  • Familiarity with AI-specific contract issues: IP ownership of generated output, model usage rights, and liability among multiple vendors in a platform-based offering

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation + equity

  • 401(k) with 4% Match

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Comprehensive health benefits

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
