Contract Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcer

Job Description:

The Senior Sourcer is a contract opening on the Talent Acquisition team responsible for delivering high-quality sourcing and candidate-screening support to Talent Acquisition recruiters. Working in close partnership with assigned recruiters, this individual will typically support 10+ requisitions at a time and build targeted, diverse pipelines of qualified active and passive candidates. The Senior Sourcer will conduct comprehensive initial screens, document candidate qualifications and motivations, and present fully screened candidates who meet the requirements of each role. Success will be measured through defined key performance indicators related to pipeline generation, candidate quality, speed, responsiveness, conversion, data accuracy, and recruiter satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities


  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition recruiters to understand assigned requisitions, required qualifications, target candidate profiles, sourcing priorities, and service expectations.
  • Manage sourcing and initial screening activity for approximately 10+ requisitions at a time, adjusting priorities as business needs change.
  • Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies using job boards, professional networks, internal databases, social media, web research, referrals, talent communities, and other relevant channels.
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with active and passive candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Conduct thorough initial screens to assess experience, technical and functional qualifications, career interests, compensation expectations, work authorization, location requirements, availability, and overall alignment with the opportunity.
  • Present recruiters with fully screened qualified candidates supported by clear, accurate, and concise screening notes.
  • Maintain consistent communication with recruiters regarding pipeline health, candidate feedback, market conditions, sourcing challenges, and recommended adjustments.
  • Build and maintain reusable talent pipelines for recurring, high-volume, specialized, and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Maintain timely and accurate candidate activity, dispositions, notes, and pipeline data in Workday and other approved recruiting tools.
  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and inclusive candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up.
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives, sourcing campaigns, talent-mapping projects, process improvements, and other priorities as assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies


  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and screening candidates in a corporate agency, or recruitment process outsourcing environment.
  • Strong ability to identify and engage passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, social platforms, web research, and creative sourcing techniques.
  • Experience conducting structured candidate screens and evaluating qualifications against defined job requirements.
  • Ability to manage 10+ concurrent requisitions, balance competing priorities, and consistently meet established deadlines and service expectations.
  • Strong partnership skills and a service-oriented approach to supporting Talent Acquisition recruiters.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to summarize candidate qualifications clearly and objectively.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and candidate relationship management tools; Workday experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using recruiting data and metrics to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and adjust strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to accurate documentation and process compliance.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment while remaining responsive to recruiter and business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience sourcing for manufacturing, operations, engineering, research and development, technical, or other specialized roles is preferred; knowledge of the chemical, plastics, or semiconductor industries is a plus.
