The Culinary Innovation and Marketing team is looking for a Recipe and Content Developer to join our vibrant Ninja Test Kitchen! This role will play a key role in defining and developing culinary content for all facets of Ninja collateral and marketing. The Recipe and Content Developer will work with the cross functional product development team, comprised of engineers, marketers, and analysts, and provide a unique, food-first point of view for the development of new products and recipes. We are constantly striving to deliver a 5 Star customer experience across all touchpoints of the product lifecycle.

The Culinary Innovation and Marketing team is highly collaborative, and team members are expected to contribute feedback and problem-solving ideas across all projects. The Recipe and Content Developer is expected to have a strong knowledge of the industry, to be familiar with the latest food trends, and to foster a curiosity for product development. This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Needham, MA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of a domestic network of chefs and recipe developers to develop and copywrite recipes that highlight Ninja product features and benefits
• Work with Culinary, Product Development and Brand teams to develop recipes and collateral that highlight key story pillars and functionality of products
• Review and provide feedback on all collateral in Workfront and Veeva, ensuring that recipes and QSG’s are properly written and reflect accurate product functionality and usage
• Assist with management of timelines with cross functional team on collateral development, including IHUT and IHOS needs
• Assist with converting and testing recipes to highlight products for demonstrations and marketing materials
• Assist with compiling recipes for video/photo shoots for Ninja products to ensure quality of culinary output and product usage
• Work with Social/Content team to understand social metrics of recipes and content on Instagram/Facebook to aid in development of new recipes for Social. Align on key content pillars and develop recipes to share on social for key moments of activation
• Assist in development of external cookbooks and support with communication with publisher
• Monitor and research industry trends and innovations on an ongoing basis and brings new ideas to the team

• Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner
• Proven ability to collaborate and interact with others, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships within all levels of the organization
• Self-starter with independence, initiative, and a drive to succeed, as well as strong organizational skills and can-do approach to problem solving.
• Highly reliable, proactive self-starter; can be counted on to complete assignments on time
• Ability to juggle tasks and handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Requirements

• 3 -5 years related culinary experience required
• Degree from an accredited Culinary Arts program, or Culinology or Food Science or Nutrition; Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Marketing or Communications; or combination of education and experience
• Recipe development, content creationg and food writing experience a plus
