Content Writer

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Content Writer to work for our company.

Summary:

Supports the Defense Logistics Agency by providing high-quality document editing, rewriting, and presentation development services. Responsibilities include reviewing written materials for grammar, syntax, usage, spelling, and punctuation while ensuring content aligns with established standards, formatting requirements, and organizational expectations. The role also involves creating clear, professional PowerPoint presentations tailored for executive-level audiences and senior leadership, helping communicate complex information in a polished, concise, and visually effective manner.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government PUBLIC TRUST / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
• 5 years of technical and/or content writing experience. 
• Must have experience with the following programs: MS Suite; Word; Excel; Access; MS Project; PowerPoint; Adobe Creative Suite; Visio. 
• Must have experience in Knowledge Management and Information Dissemination.
• Must have experience creating and maintaining various SharePoint entities, including document repositories, team collaboration sites, data repositories, etc.
• Experience in Project Management and Process Improvements.
• Must have experience in Strategy Development.
• Must have experience in Communications and Stakeholder Management.
• Must have experience in development and delivery of SharePoint solutions and tools.
• Proofreads documentation and graphics for accuracy and alignment with source content; performs quality control checks on documents received from photocopying and word processing; assembles master copies, including graphics, appendices, tables of contents, and title pages; and assists with scheduling printing and copying.
• Assists with document tracking and logging, and consults with technical staff to determine the format, content, and organization of technical reports and proposals.
• Assists with collecting and organizing information needed to prepare user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other customer deliverables and documentation.
• Produce and manipulate graphics and visuals for informative and instructional materials, including formatting, editing, and writing technical articles, reports, and manuals for a wide range of uses.
• Create and maintain a knowledge management system, including archiving records such as meeting notes, presentations, communications, and related materials.
