Position Summary
The Content Marketing Specialist is an essential part of Delinea’s Content Marketing team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Product & Customer Marketing. This individual contributor role is ideal for an early career professional looking to grow their skills in content marketing. The Content Marketing Specialist will play a vital role in supporting Delinea’s content strategy through effective project management, coordination of resources, and hands-on content creation. This role requires a proactive and organized individual with a passion for storytelling, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. This position is remote and based in the US.
Key Responsibilities
Content Project Management: Manage the internal project pipeline for content planning and production, ensuring timely delivery and quality of all content pieces.
Resource Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to streamline content creation processes, ensuring alignment with project requirements and deadlines.
Content Creation: Write and edit content, such as blog posts, articles, case studies, and whitepapers, based on defined requirements and input from subject matter experts (SMEs).
Content Auditing: Conduct regular audits of existing content to identify gaps, outdated or expired content, and opportunities for updates and improvements.
Performance Measurement: Track and analyze content performance using defined metrics, providing insights on engagement and identifying areas for optimization.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, journalism, or a related field.
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt to Delinea’s voice and style.
Basic project management skills, with experience managing content calendars and coordinating across teams.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and content performance measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, demand generation, and external vendors.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
