Job Description

Are you passionate about creating eye-catching meaningful, and memorable content that inspires educators and drives business growth?

The LEGO® Education US Marketing team is looking for an outstanding Content Marketing Manager who embodies the roles of strategist, creator, and overseer.  In this role, you will own the full content lifecycle – across all products, personas, and funnel stages – and shape how our US audience discovers and engages with LEGO Education content! This is a highly hands-on and impactful role where you’ll lead the production of long-form and short-form content, create and manage our content calendar, and build a scalable content engine. This role’s responsibilities include coordinating copywriting and creative development resources.

This is your golden opportunity to join our team and deliver an outstanding content experience for the best brand in the world, while of course having fun along the way!

Please Note:

  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

  • The role is based out of our new Boston HUB located at 1001 Boylston Street. Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home weekly.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, marketing, sales, and data teams to gather insights and develop a content strategy, including evaluating existing content against key personas and stages of the buyer’s journey, and identify opportunities for revised and/or new assets.

  • Develop relevant and persuasive content, including coordination of copy writing and graphic production, across various formats (e.g., whitepapers, infographics, presentations, direct mail, etc.).

  • Collaborate with education impact, sales, and marketing teams to develop case studies, stories, and testimonials of successful customer implementations.

  • Lead print marketing strategy and portal, including retirement of old assets, producing new materials, and enabling self-service for sales teams where applicable.

  • Create, update, and lead communications of a quarterly/monthly content marketing calendar aligned with marketing and business priorities.

  • Support in-person and virtual event marketing with session abstracts, talking points, slide decks, and follow-up materials.

  • Build ready-to-use, easily customizable templates for certain key sales assets.

Play your part in our team succeeding

In this unique position that sits at the intersection of strategist, creator, and manager, you will play a critical role in bringing LEGO Education content to the market. You will drive the creation, distribution, and success of our content, which ultimately serves to deliver our products to educators to help them positively impact millions of students across the US.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate brings several years of experience from a global company ideally with:

  • Experienced in content marketing, preferably in the B2B education tech industry.

  • Proven track record of creating and delivering a creative content marketing strategy, including experience managing copywriting and design resources.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with impeccable attention to detail.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Skilled in diverse copywriting: long-form, short-form, and technical.

  • Owned end-to-end content marketing calendar: creation, maintenance, and distribution.
