About the role
At EF Ultimate Break, we inspire 18–35-year-olds to join life-changing travel experiences around the world. Our travelers include college students escaping campus to bop around Europe, young professionals who’ve stockpiled PTO taking their dream trip to Japan, and everyone in between.

We’re looking for a college student or recent grad with a sharp eye for digital-first creative, cultural moments, and emerging trends. Someone who can translate ideas into work that earns the attention of the next generation of travelers. From TikTok ads and CMS updates to trip launches and organizing swag for teams.  you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that directly influence how travelers discover and experience our brand.

Consider this a professional outlet for your travel obsession.

This is a cross-functional role built for someone who’s organized, curious, people-oriented, and genuinely excited about how content works across channels, across teams, and across formats. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is excited to jump between hands-on tasks—from making site updates and creating graphics to QAing content and supporting day-to-day marketing projects.

You’ll partner with our Growth and Creative teams to bring content to life: building landing pages, making updates in our CMS, creating and optimizing digital ads, and ensuring our brand shows up as its best across channels. You don’t need to be an expert in all of it on day one, but you do need the drive to learn fast and the people skills to work across teams.

What you’ll do
-Source, organize, and create content in our CMS for the Ultimate Break website, ranging from promotional graphics to content-rich landing pages and itinerary pages
-Create compelling content for paid media advertising and work with the team to optimize and refine ads for stronger performance
-Support content calendars, asset libraries, and documentation for your projects so nothing falls through the cracks
-Leverage agentic tools to automate repetitive production tasks: generating copy variations for landing pages, adapting email content for different segments, etc.

What we’re looking for
Required
-Some experience in content creation and comfort with learning new systems
-A keen eye for design and copy to ensure consistency of our branded content across channels
-A natural communicator who’s comfortable working with different teams
-A hands-on comfort with AI tools; you’ve used AI agents to get work done faster, without losing sight of taste, originality, and craft.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Strong verbal and visual communication skills with the ability to interpret direction
-An interest in keeping up with (and sharing!) evolving Gen Z and Millennial trends

Additional helpful (but not mandatory) skills:
Experience working with a CMS and ad platforms
-Experience working with an ecommerce/DTC brand
-Some knowledge of Figma and Canva
-Light video, animation, or motion skills

Why this role
You’ll get visibility across nearly every marketing function: ecommerce, paid media, CRM, and branded content. We’re a team that moves fast, values good ideas and is actively investing in how AI agents can power our workflows.

The practical stuff—and why it’s part of the fun
- $25 per hour: This is a paid, hourly internship.
- 20–40 hours per week: We’re open to interns who can contribute anywhere from 20 to 40 hours each week. Whether you’re a student with 20 hours available or a recent graduate looking for full-time hours, we’ll work together to find a schedule that fits. This is a 6-month internship from your start date.
- On-site collaboration: During your working hours, you’ll work from the office alongside our creative and marketing teams. We believe the best ideas often come from being in the room together—sharing feedback, brainstorming, and learning from one another.

About Us
Some companies are in the business of banking. Others are in the business of shoes. Or sports. Or soft drinks. At EF, we're in a different kind of business. One that's a little less tangible, and a lot more important. Because our business, what we make, makes everything else possible. We're in the business of understanding. Between people. Between cultures.

For over half a century we’ve been the leader in international educational programs and experiences designed to foster such understanding.  Through language, cultural exchange, academic studies, and educational travel, we create the kinds of immersive experiences that challenge biases, open minds, and pave the way for a more understanding world.

You’ll find our offices and schools located in some of the world’s greatest cities, and filled with smart, driven people (over 50,000 of us) who push each other to be better every day. But it’s what we do together - building greater understanding, breaking down barriers, and creating a better world - that makes all the difference.

Founded in 1965 in Sweden, EF (Education First) is a global association of education companies that share a common mission of opening the world through education. EF has been recognized on Forbes 2025 and 2024 World’s Best Employers and 2024 Top Companies for Women lists, Fast Company’s 2025 Next Big Things In Tech, and was a 2024 App Store Award winner in Cultural Impact.

About the Team
At EF Ultimate Break, we’re about way more than collecting passport stamps. Our guided tours empower young adults aged 18–35 to explore a world outside their comfort zones.  Each immersive tour creates experiences that last a lifetime, building bonds with fellow travelers that go beyond borders and cultures, and help bring the world a little bit closer. What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
