Overview:

  • Workstyle: This is a remote position; however, to be eligible for hire, candidates must reside in a state where Custom Ink is registered to do business as an employer. Eligible states currently include:

    • AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, KY, MA, MI, MO, MS, NH,  NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA

  • Reports to: Director of Marketing

  • Travel Expectations: Minimal travel; will be determined by business needs and may include occasional trips for key meetings, collaboration opportunities, or area-connected events.

  • Physical Requirements/Demands: This is a primarily sedentary, home-based role that requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer. The role involves regular use of standard office equipment, such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone. What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a Product & Content Marketing Specialist with a passion for creating compelling content and translating complex features into clear, engaging messaging. The ideal candidate has experience in a B2B or technical B2C space and is a creative thinker with a knack for developing content and product marketing strategies that support our ecommerce and swag management platform. You're a skilled writer, a collaborative team player, and familiar with using data to measure and optimize your work.

  • 3-4 years of experience in a B2B or technical B2C marketing role, with a focus on content and product marketing

  • A strong portfolio of content, including blog posts, case studies, sales collateral, and website copy

  • Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals

  • Experience in product marketing, including crafting product messaging and go-to-market strategies

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

  • Understanding of how to use data and analytics to inform marketing decisions

  • Experience in creating content strategy that balances customer-friendly content with search marketing best practices

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the Director of Marketing on developing strategy and owning execution on content strategies that support our e-commerce and swag management platforms.

  • Craft product messaging and positioning for new platform features and offerings.

  • Collaborate with product, sales, and design teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful go-to-market message.

  • Manage a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of assets.

  • Create and manage the creation of a variety of content, including case studies, blog posts, sales collateral, and website copy

  • Use data and analytics to measure content performance and build future strategies

  • Support brand awareness and lead generation through supporting organic search initiatives and different forms of content distribution and promotion.

How you’ll be measured: 

  • Timeliness and quality of content created and delivered

  • Effectiveness of go-to-market strategies for new platform features based on adoption rates and customer growth

  • Growth in key content metrics (e.g., website traffic, lead conversions, etc.)

  • Feedback from cross-functional partners on collaboration and support.

How you’ll make a difference: 

In this role, you’ll be the voice of our swag.com brand, including our swag management platform and will directly shape how we communicate its value to B2B customers. Your work will create a cohesive and compelling narrative that drives customer engagement, drives successful customer retention and growth and supports our go-to-market efforts for new releases. You’ll be a key driver of our content strategy, helping to grow brand awareness and establish Swag.com as a leader in the industry.

Compensation: 

Custom Ink is committed to pay transparency and providing fair, equitable compensation in line with market standards and role expectations.

  • For this salaried, exempt position, the pay range is $73,000 - $82,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.
