Job Description Summary

Job Description

The Commercial Systems Operations Specialist owns the delivery lifecycle of initiatives related to the Inquiry to Order tools (NEX/CPQ/CLM) from requirements through stabilization. This role works closely with process owners, business users, and technical partners to deliver detailed requirements, manage testing and releases, and resolve operational issues. The position is critical to maintain platform reliability, supporting user needs, and ensuring successful implementation of changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute detailed requirements gathering and documentation for platform enhancements and process changes while maintaining global stakeholder alignment

  • Create project plan with key deliverables and dates

  • Serve as the primary DT interface throughout development

  • Coordinate testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for new releases and fixes 

  • Generate platform documentation and process support materials associated with rollout of major initiatives

  • Own launch management — go-live communications, training, user briefings, manage hyper care period, monitor post-launch stability

  • Lead stabilization — manage post-launch punch list, confirm platform is stable, formally close out initiative and document lessons learned

  • Investigate operational issues and partner with technical teams to support resolution 

  • Support incident triage, issue resolution, and follow-up on recurring defects or integration problems 

  • Collaborate with business users to understand day-to-day operational needs and pain points. Go to Gemba.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen usability, efficiency, and stability 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience   

  • Proven experience supporting Commercial Operations, Sales or related field

  • Relevant experience with CRM (NEX)/CPQ/CLM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with strong project management instincts

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through operational issues methodically 

  • Comfortable in the IT development interface — able to have substantive conversations with developers about scope and design tradeoffs

  • Ability to document requirements, test changes, and support release implementation activities 

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $128,400.00 and $213,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
