CL Risk Placement Director's Primary Functions
- Accountable for service of a select number of Corcoran & Havlin’s large commercial accounts
- Coordinate certain placements of new business with insurance carriers and leads quote negotiations with underwriters
- Assist in maintaining relationships with insurance carriers and wholesalers
- Participate and implement projects as assigned by senior management
- Organize renewal meetings for agency Producers
Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Lines experience on the insurance agency side and experience handling larger commercial accounts. (10 years overall experience in the insurance industry is best).
The candidate must be strong from a technical standpoint (knowing policy forms, lines of coverage). CPCU or CIC designations preferred.
The Risk Placement Director works with Producers in the agency in strategizing the best carrier fit for the prospect, appropriate pricing, etc. This is one of the most important positions in the agency. We are looking for someone who wants to grow in their position and further develop their career.
