ROLE DESCRIPTION

Capco are looking for a Strategic Pursuits & Bids - Associate to join our UK Commercial Team. The team are responsible for driving growth across the Capco business with a focus on large, complex and strategic transactions. This is achieved through collaborating with Capco business leaders to engage in senior client conversations with a view of providing an offering that will deliver significant benefits and the best value to our clients.

As a Consultant within the UK Commercial team you will be responsible for supporting the sales process for large transactions and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support with shaping, developing and closing sales opportunities, acting as a key point of contact with account leads and regional MDs across Capco. This includes contribution to the development of compelling value propositions, aligned to client ambitions and the development of win strategies for strategic RFPs
  • Create and maintain complex pricing models which underpin deals
  • Present deal economics and key commercial implications to Capco C-suite executives, coordinating deal approvals where required
  • Create polished, client-facing presentation materials which concisely summarise the commercial proposition
  • Participate in contract development
  • This then is not an M&A or Transactions Advisory role, rather one that will see you work on & help shape the large deals Capco does with our clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excel modelling experience
  • Natural commercial intuition and an entrepreneurial mind set
  • Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with, understanding the needs of and influencing diverse stakeholders at senior levels across the business and with external clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment and willing to adapt and be flexible given requirement to work with a variety of Partners
  • Well organised, strong time management and proven ability to multi-task (may be required to work on more than one deal at a time)
  • Strong proficiency in using of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Full job training will be provided
