The Role
Capco is seeking a Capital Markets Data Strategy & Advisory Leader at Managing Principal level to expand our award-winning Data Practice. You’ll define and lead strategic data advisory initiatives for some of the world’s top financial institutions, helping shape enterprise-wide transformation while growing Capco’s presence in the Capital Markets domain.
What You’ll Do
Build and scale data capabilities within Capital Markets in close partnership with domain and consulting leads
Drive commercial growth through client mapping, pipeline development and proposition shaping
Deliver high-impact data advisory including data strategy, literacy, governance and tooling adoption
Lead and develop mixed Capco-client teams to deliver sustainable business outcomes
Shape and promote market-facing propositions and thought leadership in data strategy and advisory
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of data consulting experience, with 5+ in Capital Markets
Proven experience engaging C-suite stakeholders on enterprise-level data advisory
Strong commercial and relationship development track record with strategic clients
Deep knowledge of data frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC) and cross-domain ecosystems
Experience managing end-to-end data transformations across architecture, analytics and governance
Bonus Points For
Hands-on experience leading the rollout of data management tooling in FS
Structured account planning, domain strategy, and pipeline ownership
Exposure to ESG, regulatory, or financial reporting data challenges
Experience mentoring and coaching high-performing data teams
Proven delivery of innovative Capital Markets data products or platforms
