The Cloud Operations Administrator III is responsible for supporting and managing the day-to-day operations of customer-hosted cloud environments. This role contributes to efficiency and optimization initiatives, mentors junior team members, and serves as an escalation point for cross-functional teams. The Cloud Operations Specialist III performs advanced tasks within the Jenzabar One ecosystem, including troubleshooting complex customer-reported issues and configuring cloud-hosted systems. Success in this role requires deep technical expertise, advanced knowledge across multiple technologies, and consistent application of industry best practices.

This is a 2nd shift EST working hours position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for complex cloud issues including priority 1 incidents, service failures, performance-related issues, and escalations from cross-functional teams
  • Perform test and production upgrades on hosted systems for applications in the Jenzabar One ecosystem
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with other business units to assist hosted customers
  • Provide root cause analysis, detailed incident reports, and post-mortem analysis for resolved issues
  • Help drive process improvement for business processes within Cloud Services, automation of tasks, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer support for cloud-related incidents
  • Provide SQL Server support in configuration (e.g. Maintenance Plans, SQL Agent Jobs, dbmail, etc.) troubleshooting (e.g. Jenzabar One-delivered objects, general performance issues, etc.), and T-SQL scripting
  • Support the Jenzabar One application stack
  • Serve as an escalation point for Cloud Operations Specialist I, II, application Support, and Network Operations Center (NOC) team
  • Provide onboarding training, guidance, and mentorship to junior Cloud Operations Specialists, helping them develop technical skills
  • Facilitate development of documentation for standards, processes, knowledgebase articles, checklists, etc.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager, Cloud Systems or other Cloud Services leadership
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years experience in a cloud or systems administration role
  • Ability to work 2nd shift EST hours
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, networking, automation tools, and security
  • Familiarity with one or more scripting languages (e.g.  T-SQL, PowerShell, Python)
  • Expert troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex cloud-related problems
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization technologies (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes), cloud solution training/certifications, etc. are desirable
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to assist in onboarding and mentoring junior staff members under the direction of Cloud Services Leadership
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Must be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

The pay range for this position is $66,000-$78,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
