WHAT WE'LL NEED

As a Cloud Engineer, you will contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of Wingstop’s enterprise cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms that support scalable, secure business applications and integrations across the organization.

You will work closely with the Infrastructure, Application Development, Business, and Security teams to implement best practices in cloud architectures within AWS, Azure, Oracle and Salesforce. You will perform and support platform administration, development and integration management, automation, and CI/CD enablement. Your role will help improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency while supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

The role includes administering and maintaining multi-cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, Oracle, Salesforce, and MuleSoft AnyPoint cloud environments; monitoring system and API performance; maintaining security controls; automating deployment processes; and designing, maintaining, and governing GitHub-based CI/CD workflows.

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for diagnosing and resolving infrastructure, integration, and deployment issues; improving system reliability and operational maturity; responding to incidents; and continuously enhancing Cloud operations, DevOps, automation, and platform capabilities to support enterprise growth. In addition, will work with Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure monitoring, alerting and reporting of existing and new cloud infrastructure is maintained to include dashboards and metrics reporting. 


What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for managing and monitoring enterprise cloud systems and services in a hybrid and multi-cloud environment. This includes AWS, Azure, Oracle, Salesforce Cloud platforms, MuleSoft Anypoint, and other supporting SaaS and internal applications.
  • Administer and support Salesforce Cloud platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related environments), including environment management, user access governance, release coordination, platform stability, and performance monitoring.
  • Support and maintain MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API lifecycle management, integration flows, deployment pipelines, environment promotion, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting of enterprise system integrations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and related DevOps tooling to enable automated builds, testing, secure deployments, and controlled release management across cloud infrastructure, Salesforce, and integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to implement DevOps best practices including branching strategies, pull request governance, artifact management, secret management, automated testing, and structured environment promotion strategies.
  • Participate in change management activities related to enterprise cloud applications, Salesforce releases, MuleSoft integrations, CI/CD platforms, and infrastructure services. Ensure changes are documented, reviewed, approved, and adhere to governance and compliance policies.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to provide visibility into the health and performance of cloud infrastructure, Salesforce environments, MuleSoft APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. Work with SRE team to ensure dashboards, alerting and metrics are in place to ensure reporting and maintaining highly available infrastructure and services. 
  • Work cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Application Development, Security, and Business teams to support enterprise technology initiatives, digital transformation programs, and system integration strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or 7+ years of proven work experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role.
  • Team player with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise cloud systems, storage, databases, networking, datacenters, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Experience supporting SaaS enterprise platforms including Salesforce Cloud environments (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or related Salesforce ecosystem technologies) including user access management, integrations, environment governance, release coordination, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience supporting and administering MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API lifecycle management, integration flows, deployment pipelines, environment promotion, monitoring, and troubleshooting of integrations between enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of API architecture, integration patterns, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT), and secure system-to-system connectivity.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ruby) for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Experience designing, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines, including hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, workflow automation, repository governance, branching strategies, artifact management, and secure secret handling.
  • Experience implementing DevOps best practices including automated testing, code promotion strategies, release orchestration, and rollback procedures across cloud and SaaS platforms.
