The Cloud and Infrastructure Systems Engineer (CISE III) is responsible for supporting the on premise, cloud and SaaS based systems used by the Employee Digital Enablement Group (EDE). Under general supervision the engineer performs technical work including designing, setup, administering, upgrade and troubleshooting systems infrastructure and ensures the success of SaaS equivalents.
The Cloud and Infrastructure Systems Engineer collaborates with peers to complete projects, supports business initiatives and participates in the development of architectural standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain server infrastructure and highly available solutions to satisfy business objectives both in the cloud and on premises
- Responsible for maintaining security standards, patch deployment and vulnerability remediation across server infrastructure
- Administers Microsoft Office 365 and email security products
- Responsible for the integration of SaaS vendors with Entra ID, AD and/or Office365 including implementation of single sign on (SSO)
- Supports and enhances user account lifecycle automation using solutions such as Saviynt Identity Security Premium, Microsoft Identity Manager and Microsoft Entra ID
- Junior to mid level expertise managing virtualized infrastructure under VMware ESXi 8 and/or Amazon EC2
- Manage internal and external DNS using Microsoft and 3rd party vendors
- Configures and monitors SaaS based infrastructure backup solutions such as Cohesity and Avepoint
- Communicates and effectively interacts with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races
- Exhibits curiosity and ambition to constantly learn new things and take on new responsibilities within a fast past dynamic environment
- Pursues an AI-first approach to their workload; guiding, honing and validating output to accelerate their abilities
- Consistently display an outstanding customer service attitude.
- Acts as a business partner to multiple organizations, recommending secure processes and systems.
- Develops documentation and maintains knowledge base to document solutions and define procedures.
- Mentors junior staff and cross trains peers and other teams on areas of expertise
- Work on escalated support tickets
- Participate in the definition of standard IT practices and procedures
- Participate in an on-call support rotation as required
- Work as part of a team to support global operations of Dynatrace’s computer systems and applications.
- Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory
- Experience working in heterogenous environments that include Microsoft and Linux servers.
- Experience administering Microsoft server products including (Windows Server (2019/2022/2025)
- Powershell automation scripting skills including interaction with REST API or other remote endpoints
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years industry experience preferred
- Industry certifications from Microsoft in the areas of Security, Modern Work or Infrastructure highly desirable
- College degree preferred
