The Client Success Lead (CSL) serves as the primary strategic advisor and thought leader across assigned client relationships within the Integrated Acceleration Group (IAG). The CSL develops forward-looking strategies, uncovers insights, interprets category and consumer trends, and translates high-level client objectives into actionable strategic frameworks that guide execution teams and drive measurable business outcomes across Inmar’s Martech solutions.
This role owns strategic account planning, leads insight-driven strategic narratives, and ensures cross-functional alignment on long-term client growth strategies. CSLs collaborate closely with Sales, Client Success Managers (CSMs), Activation Managers (AMs), Product, Analytics, Martech Business Strategy, and other strategic partners to ensure that execution ties cohesively to an overarching client roadmap and value framework.

Primary Accountabilities: 

Strategic Leadership & Thought Partnership (50%)

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner for senior client stakeholders, driving long-term vision, planning, and category-level insights that deliver business value.
  • Develop and own strategic account plans, guiding cross-functional teams around shared objectives, ensuring consistent alignment between client goals, Inmar capabilities, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Lead development of strategic narratives that connect client challenges, brand goals, shopper behavior, and Inmar solutions into compelling value frameworks.
  • Develop audience targeting strategies, leveraging Inmar data and predictive intelligence,  consumer research, and trend analyses.
  • Translate category, brand, and industry insights into actionable recommendations for internal teams and clients.
  • Partner with Sales to influence client adoption of new solutions, strategic frameworks, and multi-year investment strategies.
  • Lead strategic components of client quarterly business reviews (QBRs), annual planning sessions, senior-level presentations, and cross-functional strategic sessions.
  • Identify new whitespace opportunities and forward-looking strategic paths for client growth.

Cross Functional Influence & Strategic Oversight (30%)

  • Provide strategic oversight to CSMs, ensuring tactical execution aligns with the broader strategy and client objectives.
  • Serve as the internal strategic steering partner, ensuring all teams (e.g. CSMs, Analytics, Product) are aligned on long-term priorities.
  • Support CSMs in translating client strategy into executable plans, ensuring clarity of objectives and intended outcomes.
  • Partner with the organization’s strategic teams (Martech Business Strategy, etc.) to ensure frameworks and client strategies remain future-forward.
  • Identify risks or misalignments early; provide direction to keep client activity on-strategy and value-driven.
Client Relationship Development (20%)
  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor-level relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Influence client decision-making through data-backed storytelling and insightful recommendations.
  • Drive strategic discussions beyond performance reporting into future-focused opportunities.
  • Strengthen client trust through proactive communication, strategic foresight, and consistent delivery of value.
  • Partner with Sales and CSMs to support renewal, expansion, and client growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as strategy, category management, brand marketing, media planning, insights/analytics, shopper marketing, or digital activation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior-level client conversations and build strong executive presence.
  • Deep expertise in data interpretation, national brand and shopper marketing activation, insights development  and storytelling.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally to drive aligned outcomes across execution teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience in CPG, Retail Media, Shopper Marketing, Media, or Incentives preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Suite, Monday.com, Microsoft Office; familiarity with data sources and visualization tools preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring range for this position is:

101,145.38 - 168,575.63 USD Annual

The final offer may vary based on factors such as geographic location, job-related skills, education, certifications, work experience, and other relevant considerations.

Depending on the job level and role, it may include:

  • Annual discretionary bonuses through our Core Company Performance Bonus Plan

  • Equity grants, sign-on bonuses, and other tailored incentive opportunities
