Purpose of the role

As a Client Solutions Consultant for Orbital, you will identify, develop and close new and different revenue streams beyond our core marketing client base. The goal is to bring Orbital's AI-powered capabilities to new sectors, buyer audiences and use cases. This is a net-new business development mandate. Your success is measured by new logos, new markets and new revenue streams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams for Orbital outside the core marketing ecosystem - new verticals, use cases and buyer audiences beyond existing clients.

  • Input into and execute Orbital's commercialisation strategy, tailoring the global playbook to new-market nuances, buying behaviours and regulatory environments.

  • Prioritise the highest-value net-new verticals, segments and geographies for entry and expansion.

  • Working with the Commercial division and EVP, AI & Growth, develop pricing and packaging models for new markets and buyer types, in partnership with legal and finance.

  • Build go-to-market processes and sales playbooks from scratch: prospecting frameworks, pitch decks, demo flows, objection-handling and proposals.

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure campaigns and positioning resonate with new buyer audiences.

  • Source, qualify and close new accounts, building pipeline through outbound, network activation and inbound - measured on net-new logos and revenue, not existing-account growth.

  • Negotiate commercial deals that balance customer value with sustainable terms.

  • Represent Orbital at events and conferences to build brand presence and demand among new audiences.

  • Leverage your network to accelerate entry into priority markets and strategic net-new accounts.

  • Own the net-new revenue number (quarterly and annual) and maintain rigorous pipeline discipline - forecasting, tracking and CRM hygiene.

  • Report pipeline health and performance to leadership regularly, flagging and resolving commercial blockers.

  • Drive internal awareness and adoption of Orbital, educating teams on its capabilities and supporting colleagues on net-new pitches and strategic opportunities.

  • Lead demonstrations and enablement sessions, acting as a primary spokesperson for Orbital and building momentum around AI across the organisation.

  • Negotiate partner agreements and build a partner ecosystem that contributes to net-new pipeline and revenue.

  • Build thought leadership and a strong professional profile - speaking at events, panels and through LinkedIn, articles and podcasts - raising Orbital's credibility with new audiences.

  • Develop relationships with senior industry leaders, partners, analysts and innovation communities relevant to new revenue territories.

  • Track competitive dynamics, regulatory trends and procurement behaviours in target markets, and feed insights back to Product, Marketing and leadership.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Background in management/strategy consulting or SaaS sales, with a consultative, solution-selling approach.

  • Demonstrable experience opening new markets, sectors or buyer categories. Comfortable being the first commercial face in an unfamiliar vertical.

  • Track record of building pipeline from scratch, without an established playbook to inherit.

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter and international mindset. Energised by building your own territory with real autonomy, and a keen interest in AI.

  • Curious, high-energy and ambitious, with the flexibility to work across markets and stakeholder types.

This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the responsibilities for this role. Other responsibilities may be added from time to time.
