Role Overview:
As a Client Partner, you will be an integral part of the growth within a targeted portfolio of named accounts within the Industrials vertical.
Working within your community, you will expand the presence of Catalant consulting engagements across target organizations, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal conversion and project extensions.
With your deep understanding of Catalant’s offerings and your expertise in the Industrials industry, you will serve as a trusted advisor to your clients, identifying and promoting tailored solutions that address their most pressing business challenges.
What you'll do
- Design a comprehensive engagement plan that includes high-value stakeholders, communication strategies, and activities to deepen the relationship over time.
- Engage with clients early in their planning phases to position Catalant as a key enabler in successfully executing their strategic initiatives.
- Develop customized consulting solutions and expert talent that align with the client's strategic goals across diverse project types (e.g., AI, Commercial Excellence, Supply Chain, Business Transformation, Transformation Management Office, Operational Excellence, etc.). Present these solutions in a way that highlights Catalant’s unique value proposition.
- Position yourself as a strategic advisor and problem-solving partner to senior executives at the client including the C-level executives and VPs.
- Engage additional departments across the organization including common consulting buyers (corporate strategy, operations leadership, supply chain, procurement, CTO/CIO, and more).
- Maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and track them through all stages of the sales cycle.
- Work closely and collaboratively with Associates to match expert talent to project needs.
- For strategic projects, directly engage with Catalant experts to vet, prepare, and advise.
- Ensure experts are well-prepared for interviews and proposal development by providing them with a clear set of client needs and preferences.
- Manage externally and internally facing summaries of Catalant work at assigned accounts to help communicate the value we are creating as well as monitor that the work is going well.
- Build productive partnerships with internal stakeholders across Catalant, acting as a collaborative member of the Industrials team.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales, professional services, or consulting.
- Proven track record in quota-carrying roles consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Success winning engagements against large management consulting firms.
- Knowledge of and experience in the Industrials space.
- Expertly capable of building a successful pipeline and book of business.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to engage clients at all levels.
- Ability to hit the ground running; having a network and deep understanding of the client community is a must.
