About This Role

As Client Operations Lead, you will ensure clients receive a consistent and successful operational experience from onboarding through daily service. You will collaborate with Account Management, Care, Logistics, Growth, Product, and on-site teams to launch new clients, enhance existing operations, and develop scalable processes as the company grows.

This role is equal parts project management, operations, and leadership. You’ll work cross-functionally to solve problems, improve the client experience, and support the Client Operations program while identifying opportunities to make our operations more efficient. This role is based on Los Angeles or the San Francisco Bay Area and the majority of clients in the scope of this role is based in California.

What You’ll Do

Client Launches & Implementations

  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to understand each client’s operational needs before launch.
  • Lead client walkthroughs and develop site-specific operating procedures.
  • Coordinate onboarding and launch timelines across internal teams.
  • Build staffing plans and operational playbooks for new clients.
  • Support onsite launches when needed to ensure a successful go-live.
  • Identify risks early and work with internal teams to resolve them before launch.

Client Operations

  • Own the day-to-day operational success of assigned client sites.
  • Monitor client performance and identify opportunities to improve service.
  • Investigate operational issues and partner with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Build and maintain SOPs for client sites.
  • Review operational metrics and recommend process improvements.
  • Partner with Account Managers on client feedback and ongoing operational needs.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and coach Client Operations Associates (COAs).
  • Support Site Leads through regular check-ins and performance coaching.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure service standards are being met.
  • Develop staffing plans and coordinate coverage across multiple markets.
  • Build a strong team culture focused on accountability, communication, and client service.

Process Improvement

  • Create scalable processes that improve consistency across the COA program.
  • Develop training materials, documentation, and operational resources.
  • Lead implementation of new operational tools and technology.
  • Identify manual processes and recommend more efficient solutions.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives that support the growth of the Operations team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience coaching or leading geographically dispersed field teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Operations, Client Operations, Hospitality Operations, Logistics, Customer Success, or Project Management.
  • Experience leading projects and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple internal teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building processes, SOPs, or operational documentation.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and other operational tools.
  • Travel will be required 50-75% of the time to visit client sites, support launches, audit operations, and work directly with our field teams to make sure every site is running successfully.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to improve operational performance.

At Sharebite, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry and market standards. The base compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, however actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and location. Salary is just one component of Sharebite's total compensation package, which includes equity, multiple health insurance options, and a wide range of benefits.
