POSITION SUMMARY:

  • A Client Executive's main function is interacting with our clients in a front-line position. The CE will have the experience to handle most client issues and marketing of client's renewals with minimal supervision. The Client Executive's primary purpose is to assist the client Risk Manager and the BRP Advisor manage the account.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing service to client's Risk Manager by addressing client's needs and delegating those tasks to the internal BRP team as needed. Tasks will vary from answering client's coverage related questions, to reviewing client insurance requirement and indemnity documents to reviewing previously placed policies for accuracy
  • Handle marketing of client's policies as they come up for renewal or as new policies are required to be placed. Working with internal BRP team as well as carrier UWs, wholesale brokers and client to assure exposure for placements are accurately and effectively presented to the markets
  • Work with internal BRP team to manage Expiring Policy database as renewals arise
  • Assist with training Account Manager and Assistant Account Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Associate Degree or Technical/Trade School required; Undergraduate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience (years and type of experience): 5+ Years in Construction/Residential Insurance Brokerage at a level of Sr. Account Management with client interfacing responsibility required; 7-10+ Years in Construction/Residential Insurance Brokerage preferred
  • Certification(s): None required; None preferred
  • License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment required; Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Technical Coverage understanding would be very beneficial.
  • Client facing skills/experience is necessary.
  • Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture

TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, AND SYSTEM-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Typical computer skills as used in the insurance industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary
