A quick snapshot

As a Client Director, you’ll be responsible for driving growth, retention, and long-term value across a small number of Conga's most important enterprise customers.  This role blends new business development with ownership and execution of complex expansions and high-value renewals.  Client Directors are the conductors of the account leading enterprise-wide sales motions and aligning Conga's full portfolio to customer priorities and transformation initiatives.

Why it’s a big deal…

You’ll own a focused set of highly strategic accounts end to end. Build deep relationships across business and technical stakeholders, including executive leadership, and position Conga as a long-term partner aligned to their most critical initiatives.

Here’s what we’re looking for...

Trusted Advisor.  You establish credibility as a strategic partner by deeply understanding each customer's business, industry, and operating model. Provide guidance that connects Conga's capabilities to measurable business outcomes, not just product features.

Customer and Market Insight.  You maintain a strong point of view on each account's strategy, competitive landscape, and internal dynamics. Leverage public signals, executive engagement, and internal relationships to anticipate needs and shape opportunities.

Business Planning & Value Articulation.  You build and present executive-level business cases that tie Conga solutions to financial and operational impact. Use ROI modeling, benchmarking, and value frameworks to support decision-making and investment.

Pipeline & Forecast Management. Maintain a disciplined pipeline aligned to account strategy, with clear next steps and progression. Ensure accuracy in forecasting, strong deal hygiene, and alignment with leadership expectations.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Cross-Functional Leadership. You orchestrate internal resources across pre-sales, customer success, product, partners, and leadership to drive outcomes. Act as the central point of accountability for all customer-facing activity.

Portfolio Leadership.  Bring the full Conga platform to every engagement. Connect CPQ, CLM, and broader capabilities into a cohesive narrative that supports the customer's end-to-end revenue lifecycle transformation.

Deal Execution & Closure. Lead complex negotiations and deal strategy from inception through close. Navigate procurement, legal, and executive stakeholders to drive timely and successful outcomes.

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination.  In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
