The Chile Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our GE HealthCare business in Chile, including sales, service, operations, marketing, compliance. He will develop and execute the overall business strategy for the Chilean market in alignment with regional objectives, identifying growth opportunities and creating cross-functional strategic plans.Job Description
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Be the primary accountable GEHC employee for Chilean country GEHC Operation.
- Lead the Sales team and Channel Partners to drive market penetration, organic growth and customer satisfaction.
- Cultivating and leveraging customer relationships at the executive level, including Top Key Accounts and foreign contacts such as packagers and consortiums.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, government agencies, and industry partners. Act as the primary point of contact for major customers and agencies.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Development of long-term customer relationships through the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.
- Lead as Senior Leader, ensuring seamless teamwork with Service, Operations and other areas to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage budgets, resources, and performance metrics.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance market positioning.
- Deploy resources to meet financial / operating objectives including orders, revenue, margin, cash and base cost control.
- Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective measures to achieve financial targets.
- Responsible for hiring/firing/disciplinary personnel decisions in conjunction with Human Resources & Legal as appropriate.
- Ensure all direct reports have approved annual Goals & Objectives and receive an annual performance appraisal based on these goals & objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve individual and team objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with government, healthcare authorities and global institutions.
- Aware of and comply with the GEHC Compliance policy, Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 8 years Healthcare capital equipment sales experience and or Pharma and Life science.
- Minimum of 10 years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation.
- Experience managing packagers and big international healthcare groups.
- Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Chile.
- Prior experience working for a large company in a matrix environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- International network including decision takers on large groups.
- Experience on technical, clinical or product roles in Healthcare industry.
