The Capacity Growth Office (CGO) Business Office is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to help lead a team of analysts overseeing capacitization investments valued at over $10B. Raytheon’s customers need increased volumes of munitions and other defense products driving a need for substantial investment both internally and across Raytheon’s supply base. This high-visibility role will be part of a management team with similar investment oversight. These capacity expansion investments require Earned Value Management (EVM) and will be implemented using the SAP APEX EVMS / PM tool suite. CGO annual capacitization investment expenditures are forecasted to be more than $2B with anticipated total value of >$10B over five years. This Business Manager will serve as a critical business partner by providing the analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results. The CGO Execution Business Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team that is focused on one of the most critical business priorities. It also offers an opportunity to those with urgently needed financial skills to lend their ability to a critical national defense priority.

What You Will Do

  • The individual chosen for this position will manage junior analysts and coordinate all aspects regarding CGO EVMS submissions, develop, present and defend monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), support investment business cases, and baseline scope expansion tasking.
  • Analyzing capacitization investment EV metrics including weekly/monthly costs incurred and provide associated leading indicator guidance to CGO leadership and the program community.
  • The projects have material and manufacturing development, which requires experience of integrating and managing large suppliers
  • Partnering with the CGO Finance Director to help implement and shape the strategic Financial outlook for the CGO over the Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Create consensus among senior executive leaders around best path to enabling Raytheon to deliver accelerated production and associated financial benefits to its stakeholders
     

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Work and PowerPoint)
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, Quality, etc.)
  • Experience in applications of EVMS, Program Controls, and/or Cost/ Schedule Integration or a similar system
     

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proven ability to build cross-functional teams through influence without formal authority
  • Experience leading and mentoring peers and junior analysts
  • Experience with SAP including PRISM MRP
  • Experience with financial forecasting, Annual Operating Plans, Long Range Planning and risk & opportunity management
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and professional skills
  • Proven analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to perform work without appreciable direction  
  • Direct communication with Government customers

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
