Job Description SummaryAs the Software & Controls Solutions CFO, you will provide strategic partnership for a growing business segment, driving commercial growth, profitability and cash. In this role, the CFO will finalize integration of the Software and Controls business into a single organization, influencing proposed future operating model definition and will be responsible for financial outcomes, including the commercial & operational performance of the portfolio, inclusive of oversight for risk finance, portfolio health, productivity & cost management, FP&A and controllership.

Job Description

As the Software & Controls Solutions CFO you will:

  • Translate concepts, develop strategy, implement change, create programs responsive to external environment, and participate in cross-functional business and cultural development
  • Lead the development, implementation and measurement of operation plans and participate in their successful execution (Lead Budget, Op Plan, Long Range Forecast)
  • Ensure key processes and controls are in place to support a world class financial operation
  • Partner cross-functionally with the CEO, pole ITRs, and fulfillment to drive profitable growth and meet global targets providing insight and decision-making support
  • Participate in business deal reviews and deal approval meetings and keep senior management advised of material developments
  • Communicate business performance and identify growth accelerators
  • Provide business performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination
  • Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business (cost reduction, asset management, capital allocation, productivity, etc.)
  • Recommend and influence needed actions to maximize cash, profitability, and fleet risk management
  • Drive a spirit & letter of excellence in Controllership (e.g., adherence to GE Vernova policies, transfer of best practices, internal controls, etc.}
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on capital expenditures, restructuring, acquisitions, and other projects as required
  • Identify, develop and recruit Finance talent
  • Lead & develop team to simplify and create world class standard processes & policies across multiple ERPs through integration and simplification to one ERP structure
  • Defines and monitors KPIs to measure the performance during integration phase.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 14 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance
  • 5+ years of experience leading finance teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $212,000 and $318,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
