Part of Strategic Sales and Analytics organization, the Category Analyst focuses on providing analytics and strategic support to the Category Manager and providing proactive business insights. The Category Analyst will be responsible to assist in crafting compelling sell-in stories, ensure Ninja is set to meet account benchmarks, and serve as the expert on Ninja's performance, market trends, and competitors' performance for assigned sub-categories. This is an excellent position for a highly motivated, Category Analyst who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and data driven atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify actionable reporting that assists in driving winning at each subcategory
  • Provide category support
  • Generate and present actionable insights on pricing, promotional impacts, positioning, competitive landscape, and market needs to develop comprehensive strategies
  • Participate in delivery of daily, weekly, monthly deliverables reporting on the health of the business
  • Identify category gaps/opportunities, craft sales stories with strategic recommendations that differentiate Ninja from competitors, helping to increase distribution, space, and displays

  • Act as the voice of the market and category

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience within category management or sales analysis
  • Experience working for consumer goods company preferred
  • PowerBI knowledge strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges to internal and external partners
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience pulling and analyzing syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, NPD, GFK, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office skills

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
