Who We Want

As the Carrier Sales Manager for Arrive Fresh, you will play a pivotal role in building our produce division from the ground up. We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader with a deep background in produce/perishable freight who thrives in both autonomous and cross-functional environments.

What You'll Do

    As the Carrier Sales Manager for Arrive Fresh, your key responsibility will be to amplify our carrier network and service effectiveness within the fresh produce sector. This includes, but is not limited to, developing carrier compliance programs, claims management, internal carrier sales training, leading a team of carrier sales representatives, and ensuring our carriers experience best-in-class service. ​

Qualifications

  • 15+ yrs supply chain experience; including 10+ yrs in produce & floral 
  • Expert in Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Sanitary Transportation of Food (STF), and Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA)
  • Bid management  experience with both shippers (growers) and customers (retail, processor, foodservice & wholesale)
  • Ability to adjust altitudes quickly, simultaneously creating strategy while ensuring smooth operational roll-out throughout the organization 
  • High energy with strong work ethic and passion for continuous improvement
  • Experience in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) creation including compliance program design and roll-out 
  • Experience collaborating with tech teams on Transportation Management System (TMS) functionality to improve customer and carrier experience

Supervisory Responsibility

    This role has direct supervisory responsibilities over a team of Carrier Sales Representatives specializing in produce.
