About Hologram

Hologram is building the future of IoT connectivity, delivering internet access to millions of connected devices worldwide. We process over 5 billion transactions per month across our global infrastructure, this isn't just another app, it's the invisible backbone powering everything from fleet tracking to smart city infrastructure. We tackle challenges of scale, reliability, and performance that few companies face.

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team and build pipeline across our target markets. This is a high-impact role for someone motivated by results, driven by curiosity about how our customers build, and energized by turning cold outreach into revenue.

What makes a Hologrammer?

We look for people with insatiable curiosity and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. Hologrammers are the type who dig deeper when things break, ask 'why' before 'how,' and aren't satisfied until the solution is bulletproof.

You'll love working here if you:

  • Value tenacious ownership of outcomes: You don’t just hit your quota. You own the quality of what lands in the AE’s calendar and stay with an account until you know whether it converts.
  • Enjoy the hunt as much as the win: You do the research, find the angle, and keep refining both based on what lands.
  • Relentlessly pursue growth: You set the bar higher than anyone asked, then figure out how to reach it.
About this role

The Business Development Representative opens new business for Hologram by prospecting into companies deploying connected devices at scale. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll partner closely with Account Executives and Sales leadership to build qualified pipeline and become fluent in how cellular connectivity actually works for the fleets, sensors, and devices our customers run in production.

Responsibilities:
  • Source and qualify new opportunities through outbound prospecting into target accounts
  • Build and run multi-touch sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Navigate objections and gatekeepers in outbound conversations
  • Identify fit by digging into how prospects deploy connected devices, their device volumes, and their current carrier setup
  • Partner with Account Executives on account strategy and handoffs, measured on pipeline quality, not just meeting volume
  • Own and overachieve a monthly target for qualified meetings and opportunities created
  • Respond to inbound interest quickly and qualify it with the same rigor you apply to outbound
  • Leverage AI-assisted tooling to increase reach while keeping outreach personalized
  • Become fluent in Hologram's platform, cellular IoT, and the problems our customers are solving
  • Surface market trends, leverage points, and what's working from the front line, and feed it back to sales and marketing
Requirements:
  • 2+ years in an outbound-focused sales development role (BDR, SDR, or inside sales) carrying a quota tied to meetings or qualified opportunities
  • A track record of hitting activity and pipeline targets that you can walk through month by month with real numbers
  • Experience running multi-touch outbound sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM and a sales engagement platform (we run Salesforce and Gong Engage; comparable tools are fine)
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Comfort learning a technical product and explaining it in plain language to a non-technical buyer
Bonus Points:
  • Exposure to IoT, hardware, telecom, or connectivity
  • Experience with AI-assisted prospecting tooling (we use Clay, ToFu, and Exa)
  • Bilingual, especially Spanish
  • Experience selling to engineering or techncal buyers

Role Compensation: $70,000 base salary + $36,973 annual incentives + Sign-on RSUs
