The Business Development Representative sits at the front end of growth. In this role, you will partner with an assigned Sales Director to generate a qualified pipeline by creating meaningful prospect engagement, identifying fit, and setting high-quality meetings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys proactive outreach, thoughtful research, and the energy of opening doors with senior level prospects.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate pipeline for assigned Sales Director(s) by engaging both existing leads in our database and net new prospects outside the database.
  • Use a multi-channel prospecting approach including calls, personalized email, and social selling to drive engagement and open qualified conversations.
  • Research prospects and accounts against Sentient Jet’s ideal customer profile (ICP) and identify strong-fit opportunities.
  • Qualify potential need, timing, and suitability before scheduling meetings for your associated Sales Director.
  • Create, update, and maintain clean records in Salesforce, including lead, contact, activity, and opportunity data.
  • Leverage a strong technology stack to prioritize activity, personalize outreach, and improve conversion.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to refine messaging, targeting, and follow-up strategy.

  • A proactive, self-driven professional who is energized by outreach, prospecting, and opening new conversations
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage prospects by phone and the judgment to personalize outreach across channels
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment where activity, meetings, and pipeline all matter
  • An organized operator who can manage follow up, maintain clean CRM records, and move opportunities forward with discipline
  • A coachable teammate who is curious, resilient, and eager to develop within a high-performance sales environment
  • Experience in sales development, business development, inside sales, hospitality, luxury services, membership sales, or a similarly client-facing growth role is helpful
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and modern prospecting tools is preferred; experience with technology such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Wealth Engine is a plus
