The Role

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to own top-of-funnel pipeline generation and outbound prospecting into defense and federal sales accounts. You'll partner closely with the rest of our Growth team in a high-impact, hands-on role as you help build and qualify pipeline to support our continued growth. You'll work directly with the sales team to identify target accounts, run outbound campaigns, and book qualified meetings that move deals into the pipeline. You'll also help refine our outbound playbook and messaging as we scale, and coordinate with the team to keep prospecting efforts aligned with what's converting.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive awareness for Pryzm through identifying and prospecting accounts.

  • Develop a keen understanding of the Pryzm product and value proposition.

  • Send personalized and creative outbound campaigns to these prospects and book qualified meetings for our sales team.

  • Take an iterative process to build, test, and measure different outbound strategies

  • Conduct discovery to understand prospects’ business challenges, and articulate how Pryzm provides value to different customers based on their role, industry, and technical aptitude.

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and quarterly metrics.

  • Be diligent around CRM hygiene so you, and other Pryzm teams, can use that data to analyze and report on pipeline health.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of experience in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or technology sales development

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders

  • Ability to learn and articulate technical concepts related to defense, data, sales tooling, and AI infrastructure.

  • Experience with outbound prospecting and multi-threaded account engagement.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.

  • Coachable, curious, resilient, and motivated by a high-performance sales environment.

  • Located in or willing to relocate to DC (Preferred) or Boston. This is a fully on-site position.

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Platinum healthcare: comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage fully covered for employees and dependents

  • Basic Life/AD&D and long-term disability insurance fully covered, with the option to purchase additional life insurance for you and your dependents.
