In This Role
As a Business Development Manager supporting a large enterprise technology organization, you will play a dual role of administrative support and business operations management. You will manage the calendar and travel for a senior leader, track budgets and financials, support stakeholder communications, and prepare business review materials. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, high-impact environment supporting cutting-edge technology initiatives, including AI-focused projects, with both domestic and international travel a few times per year.
ResponsibilitiesManage calendar and scheduling for a senior executive, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Organize and run meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
Manage travel arrangements, including domestic and international trips, and track related expenses.
Maintain morale and operational budgets; monitor financials and forecast potential overruns.
Prepare business review materials, including presentations and reports using tools such as Power BI.
Establish and maintain communication channels across business units and with project teams.
Support project management processes, including goals, deadlines, metrics, and budgeting.
Document and maintain business processes, project communications, and key metrics.
Review contracts, cost proposals, and related documents as needed.
Plan and organize committee, board, and other team meetings.
5–7 years of experience in a similar role with a combination of executive support and business program management.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing calendars for senior executives.
Minimum 5 years of experience engaging with high-level stakeholders (VPs, CVPs, or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of experience managing budgets, financials, and business operations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with enterprise applications and reporting tools like Power BI is a plus.
Experience in enterprise technology organizations, particularly in EA (Executive Assistant), BPM (Business Program Management), or PM (Project Management) roles.
Previous experience supporting high-level leadership in a technology environment.
Familiarity with both domestic and international travel coordination.
Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $28.85 to $31.25 USD/hourly. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
