Job Title: Business Development Manager – Customized Audit Solutions

Location: United States - remote

Due to growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join our existing sales team based within the United States.

In this exciting new role, you will proactively identify and secure new business opportunities to support the growth of our tailored audit solutions across the Americas.

About the role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will leverage your expertise in consultative and solution-based sales to create trusted partnerships with our clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as risk and compliance, you will design and deliver customized offerings that truly meet client needs.

You will build new relationships through effective lead generation and strategic prospecting activities while seeking opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships with strategically important clients.

This role is more than sales—it's about influencing how our solutions are delivered, shaping the client experience, and ensuring operational excellence within their organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively drive business growth by prospecting and securing new business.

  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts and business leaders.

  • Collaborate with BSI’s Global Internal and Supplier Audit teams and internal stakeholders to align with service priorities and strategy.

  • Engage with existing accounts through ongoing partnerships with Operational and Delivery.

  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating agreements.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets, ensuring profitable growth and strategic objectives.

  • Support sales colleagues across the Americas in promoting Internal and Supplier Audit services to their clients and prospects.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • At least 8+ years of B2B sales experience.

  • Proven experience in solution sales and business development.

  • Demonstrable experience in prospecting and closing new business opportunities.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.

  • Experience in assessment/audit solutions within a professional services environment.

  • An understanding of compliance, risk and operating within regulated industries would be desirable.

  • Knowledge of ISO standards and certifications would be desirable.

  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce is also desirable.

Salary Range:
The salary for this position can range from $84,800 to $106,000 USD annually, depending on experience, location, and internal compensation factors.
