Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth of our Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) product lines through HVAC two-step distribution channels. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, delivering impactful training, and helping contractors and distributors succeed in the IAQ space. This will be a remote position; the individual must reside in the Continental United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular sales calls to HVAC distributors and contractors to promote IAQ products and solutions
- Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions to educate partners on IAQ technologies, installation best practices, and sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor sales teams and contractor networks
- Collaborate with regional sales managers to identify growth opportunities and execute targeted sales initiatives
- Attend industry trade shows, distributor events, and contractor meetings to represent the brand and drive awareness
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on field insights and customer needs
- Track and report on sales activities, training outcomes, and market trends
- Role requires 50% travel
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of two-step distribution and contractor engagement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a passion for educating and empowering others
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in HVAC, IAQ, or related technical sales roles
- Ability to travel regionally/nationally as needed (approximately 50%)
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Reside in the Continental US

Compensation: RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
