Primary Purpose:
The Business Data Analyst will collaborate closely with Fulfillment Strategy & Services Channel Development teams, ADUSA great local brand labor teams, and product teams to help create a holistic understanding of roadmap solutions and their expected implications to fulfillment labor and KPIs. Providing data-driven insights into eCommerce fulfillment, they will work to empower the Brands to improve eCommerce profitability, order quality, and customer satisfaction
The Business Data Analyst will have the responsibility of understanding engineered labor standards, querying and analyzing eCommerce fulfillment data to uncover valuable insights on areas of opportunity, and translating proposed/designed process improvements into actionable labor savings projections. This role will support the Channel Solutions Manager in translating process improvement deliverables into KPI results, namely in productivity, order completeness, order quality, and on-time performance metrics. This role enables Brands to achieve efficient execution, align with the customer value proposition, and grow sales capacity of the channels to achieve eCommerce profitability.
They will actively seek input from ADUSA Brand eCommerce, Finance, and Labor teams within ADUSA, as well as ensure they stay on top of trends in the market and competitive landscape, to ensure comprehensive insights are incorporated. They will be instrumental in translating the Channel Development roadmap into tangible benefits for the business.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA.

Duties & Responsibilities: • Measure and monitor implementation rollout results. Communicate updates regularly and raise concerns to appropriate leaders as needed• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic business decisions• Help optimize omnichannel fulfillment practices by identifying areas for improvement and proposing data-driven solutions• Support the development of a well-prioritized roadmap for development and implementation, ensuring alignment with IT business systems for key areas within the channels• Create presentations to help drive work forward and gain alignment which will often require the art of storytelling within presentations• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within ADUSA Digital and Brands to ensure a shared understanding and alignment on impacts to KPIs and financial performance of all Channel Development initiatives• Takes the initiative to keep both own knowledge of the eCommerce fulfillment space up to date and to maintain an awareness of developments in the retail and IT industry• Role model partnership behaviors, build cross-functional connections, develop industry-leading expertise, put development front and center, and foster a culture of belonging• Understanding of store/eCommerce fulfillment systems and operational processes• Strong analytical skills• Adept at uncovering valuable insights from large data sets• Prior experience with Labor Standard and Workforce Management solutions (StandardsPro, Logile, Kronos, etc) preferred but not required• Experience in industrial engineering preferred but not required• Experience using simulation software (Anylogic), preferred but not required• Financial understanding of retail P&Ls preferred but not required
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Operations Management, Continuous Improvement, or related fields; or equivalent experience.• 2+ years related experience• 1+ years using SQL or Python• Advanced Microsoft Excel (large data sets, complex formulas, pivot tables)• Familiarity with PowerBI data visualizations and dashboarding• Ability to tell a story and support a point of view using data• Proficient in uncovering actionable insights through data analysis• Clear written and verbal communication skills
