You’ll be surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. With tools that amplify your impact and a culture that backs your ambition, you won’t just contribute. You’ll make things happen–fast.

As a GTM Consultant II, you will serve as a consultant within ZI Labs, the Professional Services arm of ZoomInfo, supporting enterprise engagements that help organizations design, implement, and optimize data-driven go-to-market strategies that drive measurable revenue outcomes.

ZI Labs partners with ZoomInfo's most strategic customers to transform their revenue operations through advisory services spanning GTM strategy, data architecture, account intelligence, demand generation, and operational enablement. You will work alongside experienced consultants across the full engagement lifecycle, from initial assessment and strategic design through implementation and adoption, contributing to client deliverables while taking on increasing ownership over time.

This is an early-career role for candidates who bring strong analytical ability, clear judgment, and the ability to translate between technical detail and business outcomes. We are looking for people with the raw consulting instincts that matter most: structured thinking, composure in ambiguous situations, and the presence to engage senior stakeholders with credibility.

What You'll Do:

  • Support consulting engagements end to end, owning defined workstreams and taking on greater responsibility as you develop.
  • Structure ambiguous inputs — client data, stakeholder requests, loosely defined problems — into clear analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop consulting artifacts including analyses, strategy decks, process maps, and playbooks to an executive-ready standard.
  • Analyze and validate client data, assess data quality, and articulate the business implications of your findings.
  • Contribute to client and executive working sessions, and over time help facilitate them, translating technical findings into decisions stakeholders can act on.
  • Apply generative AI and intelligent automation tools to improve the speed and quality of delivery, and identify new opportunities to use them.
  • Collaborate with Product, RevOps, CX, and Sales teams to ensure solution feasibility and delivery quality.

What You Bring:

  • 0–2 years of experience in consulting, professional services, revenue operations, product, business operations, or a comparable analytical or client-facing role, ideally within B2B SaaS. Candidates from adjacent backgrounds and recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A demonstrated ability to own a project, initiative, or responsibility and drive it to a measurable outcome with minimal oversight.
  • Comfort with data and quantitative reasoning, including proficiency in spreadsheets and rigorous reasoning with numbers. A genuine willingness to develop SQL and modern data skills is essential; formal experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences without oversimplifying.
  • Professional presence and poise, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders credibly and contribute substantively to the conversation.
  • Familiarity with, and demonstrated curiosity about, generative AI tools and their practical applications.
  • A structured, resourceful approach to unfamiliar problems and a bias toward making progress under ambiguity.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience at a management consulting firm, professional services organization, or B2B SaaS company.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, or other hands-on data analysis.
  • Familiarity with GTM technology ecosystems, including CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, and intent platforms.
  • A track record of stepping into leadership or high-responsibility roles early.
  • Evidence of having built something new, such as a tool, analysis, process, or venture.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
