The Business Analyst will leverage extensive experience to analyze business processes and requirements, support data activities, and promote communication among stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis within the financial industry.
- Use your skills to provide subject matter expertise and complete in-depth business analysis, ensuring the success of the business process.
- Communicate standards/guidelines with business functions and facilitate review sessions to understand upstream and downstream data flows and processes to ensure alignment with project needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, Support data cleanup activities and system enhancements.
- Prepare BFRD and FRD with detailed process flows, system functionalities, and technical requirements.
- Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence platforms. Create UML diagrams, data flow diagrams, and business process models to visualize requirements effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and data/project management tools like SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA to track tasks, manage user stories, and streamline project workflows
- Knowledge of financial models, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel for data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups, and analytics tools (preferred).
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics to track business progress.
- Support business operations through troubleshooting and stakeholder coordination
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with stakeholders.
- Certification in CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or related financial industry certifications.
- Experience in Insurance domain and Regulator and Compliance department are preferred.
