The Senior Business Analyst will translate stakeholder requirements into user stories, manage product backlogs, validate functionalities, and facilitate team communication within agile methodologies.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent attitude, be exceptionally proactive, and have a demonstrated ability to translate stakeholder requirements into clear and concise user stories. This role is critical in effectively guiding the functional development of our products, ensuring functionality validation through well-crafted user stories, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Transform requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Support product development by ensuring the team fully understands business needs.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Validate functionality through specific user stories and ensure quality deliverables.
- Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Propose solutions that align with business needs and technical feasibility.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including flowcharts, specifications, and user guides.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Handle stakeholder communication, resolving conflicts effectively, even with difficult clients.
- Actively engage in agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure developed solutions meet business requirements and performance standards.
- Provide reports and analyses to measure product success and solution effectiveness.
- Stay informed on industry best practices in business analysis and agile methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- C1 English proficiency
- Expertise in translating stakeholder needs into actionable user stories.
- Proven ability to guide functional development and facilitate team understanding.
- Skilled in creating user stories for functionality validation and testing.
- Familiarity with appointment systems, including scheduling and booking logic.
- Experience in report design, analysis, and generating actionable insights.
- Advanced interpersonal skills for managing challenging client situations professionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to present complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar.
- Comprehensive skills in impact analysis, data modeling, and root cause analysis.
