The Business Analyst will play a key role in connecting data consumers with source systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM) and our enterprise analytics platform (PRISM). They will help translate business needs into analytical solutions, support the development of dashboards and reports, and promote self-service analytics (SSA) capabilities across Sales Operations, Finance, HR and Operations.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Analytics & Dashboard Enablement
· Facilitate the translation of business logic into analytical models and data queries.
· Collaborate with functional teams to understand reporting requirements and KPIs.
· Support the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PRISM or similar tools.
Governance & Data Stewardship
· Help define and maintain data definitions, usage standards, and documentation.
· Support governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
· Work with Data Stewards and business stakeholders to manage metadata and data dictionaries.
Self-Service Analytics (SSA) Support
· Train and onboard users in leveraging self-service analytics tools and capabilities.
· Develop and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and how-to documentation.
· Provide one-on-one or group support to empower teams in creating their own reports and insights.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
· Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
· Internship or project-based experience with enterprise systems and analytics tools preferred
· Familiarity with ERP, HRIS, and CRM systems (e.g., Infor, SAP, Salesforce, etc.).
· Experience or coursework with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
· Basic SQL or data querying skills; knowledge of data modeling is a plus.
· Understanding of data governance principles and metadata management.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Strong communication and organizational skills
Other Preferred:
· Strong MS Office literacy e.g. Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
· Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
