Job Description
As a Business Analyst within our VS&A Sales Operations Team, you will act as the operational engine of our delivery lifecycle, bridging the gap between initial intake, requirements grooming, and delivery logistics. This hands-on role combines business requirements gathering with sprint and user acceptance testing coordination to assist the broader execution arm of the team.
In close collaboration with the Digital Product Owner and Sales Process and Tech Manager, you will facilitate the intake process by pre-vetting requests, resolving functional ambiguities, and creating structured Jira Stories for approved workstreams. We are looking for an organized, adaptive communicator dedicated to operational excellence who is eager to contribute to our forward-thinking team.
Requirements Gathering & Backlog Grooming
Conduct initial business requirements gathering and data validation with stakeholders to help to ensure incoming project tickets are clear and actionable
Pre-vet and groom incoming execution queues to clear up operational ambiguities before business prioritization
Translate high-level business needs into comprehensive user stories within a highly collaborative and inclusive project environment
Agile Sprint & Jira Administration
Assist with sprint planning logistics and log specific technical tasks for the execution arm of the team
Document comprehensive meeting insights and operational notes to support corporate deployment tracks
Analyze execution timelines for delivery leads to support predictable sprint cadences and tracking transparency
UAT Coordination & Deployment Verification
Translate defined business requirements into step-by-step testing checklists for User Acceptance Testing
Oversee the daily work queue of technical testers and observe reported system bugs through to final resolution
Coordinate post-release validation to help to ensure deployed features are functioning successfully in production
Preferred Qualifications -
Salesforce CRM experience to analyze configuration workflows and optimize core system capabilities
Agile Management Tools to utilize Jira and Confluence for tracking team sprint logistics
SDLC Frameworks to navigate software development lifecycles and structure user acceptance testing
Requirements Documentation to write precise user stories and execute backlog grooming
UAT Tracking to build functional testing checklists and manage bug resolution queues
Operational Support to assist the execution arm of commercial systems teams within an inclusive environment
Direct experience working alongside enterprise Sales Operations or digital product delivery teams
Target Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 USD

Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree & 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Agile Product Owner, or Technical Project Coordinator etc.
