Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to evaluate and measure the impact of marketing initiatives in offline marketing programs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of marketing, product management, analytics and engineering teams to tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics & methodologies, and generate insights to drive user growth. This is a long term remote role. Candidates must live in the United States and be willing to work MST hours. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Build targeted customer lists and scripts from internal databases to support Customer Marketing initiatives across direct mail and email channels.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor the health of SQL-based data pipelines and queries to support marketing programs.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business purpose behind each marketing engine to ensure data systems are optimized for business and campaign needs.
- Establish and maintain basic reporting frameworks, define KPIs and analytical best practices, and report on business outcomes tied to marketing tactics.
- Work with multiple database platforms and interface with the data team for dashboard reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of Business Analysis or Business Intelligence experience with experience with data analysis with business applications.
- Ideal experience as an ETL Programmer, Business Analyst or in Data Analytics
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong project management discipline required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work collaboratively as part of a large team and deliver related reporting.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and distill data into actionable business insights.
- Strong interest and aptitude for working with complex data sets to support decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, understand stakeholder needs, and deliver timely, high-quality analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, or Marketing is required.
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This role has an annual salary range between $125k-140K. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
