WHOOP is hiring a Business Analyst I to support the Growth Analytics team by delivering high-quality analysis and insights that drive efficient member acquisition through performance marketing. This role is ideal for an early-career analyst who is eager to build a strong analytical foundation, partner closely with Growth Marketing stakeholders, and learn how data informs paid media strategy and growth decisions at scale. Your analyses will directly influence marketing investment decisions, improve acquisition efficiency, and help WHOOP continue scaling member growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance across paid marketing channels (search, social, display, affiliate) and dimensions such as geography, platform, and audience to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and generate actionable insights.

  • Growth Marketing Partnership: Partner closely with the Growth Marketing team to analyze media performance, answer key business questions, and provide data-driven recommendations that inform optimization and budget allocation decisions.

  • Experimentation & Measurement: Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of marketing experiments, including incrementality testing, platform lift studies, and other measurement initiatives that evaluate growth investments.

  • Marketing Data & Reporting: Build and maintain trusted datasets, dashboards, and recurring reporting that provide consistent visibility into marketing performance and acquisition efficiency across paid channels.

  • Insights & Recommendations: Translate analyses into clear, actionable recommendations by identifying performance trends, growth opportunities, and areas for further investigation with guidance from senior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Data Science, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role; relevant internships or project experience will also be considered.

  • Experience writing SQL queries or demonstrated ability to quickly develop SQL proficiency.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.

  • Exposure to digital marketing, paid media, or performance marketing analytics.

  • Strong analytical curiosity and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, iterate, and receive feedback.

  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

    This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

    At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.

     

    The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $110,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

     

    In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

    These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
