This role sits on the global brand team supporting one of the company's flagship consumer product lines, at a moment when the team is building new creative capabilities in-house.

About the Role

The Brand Marketing Manager supports the Global Brand Lead across non-campaign and special projects, including large-scale brand events, standing up a new in-house social content studio, and additional initiatives as they develop.

This role works across internal and external teams to maintain brand excellence across all touchpoints, partnering closely with product marketing and social teams to keep consumer insight and business impact at the center of every execution. They will also own the marketing calendar and partner directly with a few of the brand's leads to outline what's in the pipeline and the marketing positioning for creative briefs — likely co-generating those briefs alongside the team.

Successful candidates are cross-functional thinkers and doers. They are fluent in global brand strategy and in all things social, experienced in agency relationships and the creative development process, and operationally rigorous. They communicate clearly and persuasively with senior executives in writing and in person, and they have a strong eye for creative and social output along with the ability to influence others toward good creative decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Help stand up an in-house social content studio in partnership with creative, production, and social teams
  • Own the marketing calendar and help manage what's in the pipeline
  • Partner with brand leads to outline pipeline priorities and marketing positioning for creative briefs, and help generate those briefs directly with the team
  • Support brand strategy development for marketing campaigns
  • Develop brand and go-to-market strategy for future product launches and strategic special projects
  • Manage relationships with internal and external creative partners, facilitating the creative development process and reviews
  • Ensure creative excellence and consistency in visual identity, messaging, and communications across all touchpoints
  • Partner closely with product marketing, social, creative, production, and owned channel teams
  • Work with regional teams to scale creative to local markets
  • Act as an internal advocate for production and content studio processes, helping the broader team understand how the studio operates and what it takes to get work through it

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in brand, consumer, and social marketing
  • Experience shaping global brands and leading large-scale, cross-functional brand campaigns and complex global strategies
  • Experience managing relationships with creative agencies and production houses
  • Experience managing high-stakes cross-functional projects with senior-level stakeholders
  • Fortune 500 company experience, or experience at organizations of comparable scale and brand sophistication
  • Experience working within an in-house production or content studio is a strong plus — familiarity with studio operations and workflows helps this person hit the ground running as an internal advocate
  • Background at culturally influential, brand-forward companies that center cultural relevance and respond to cultural moments (product drops) in their work
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-starter able to build strategies from scratch and manage multiple projects at once with high standards for the work
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, high-pressure situations, and a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in rooms of all sizes and seniority levels
  • Strong negotiation skills for resolving conflict
  • Experience in mobile devices, telecommunications, or physical goods

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
