The Brand Manager will lead the Emerging Brands portfolio, drive brand strategy, manage performance, and execute marketing campaigns across teams to achieve growth objectives.

Are you a driven marketer ready to shape the future of high-growth brands? We're seeking a Brand Manager to lead our Emerging Brands portfolio within the Away From Home (AFH) business unit.
This role will be responsible unlocking growths for high potential Kraft Heinz brands in the Away From Home space. The Brand Manager, Emerging Brands will be responsible for all activities related to total portfolio management, including leadership of key commercialization projects, ownership of strategic sales driving marketing campaigns, insights analysis, and driving overarching brand strategy. And will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Brand Activations & Partnerships, R&D, Operations, and Platform marketing teams to achieve brand goals. Expect high visibility and the opportunity to shape the future of our next-generation portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Execution & Portfolio Management• Analyze and interpret brand performance data (e.g., equity, share, volume, revenue, and competitive trends) to drive strategic decisions.• Lead monthly brand performance reviews with action plans to deliver growth in market share and brand equity.• Manage brand portfolio through SKU optimization, pack/price architecture, product catalog updates, and prioritization of core vs. emerging SKUs.• Conduct strategic brand audits to assess when a brand should be elevated to "emerging brand" status within the Away From Home portfolio, based on customer demand, channel fit, growth trajectory, and margin potential.• Partner with insights, finance, and sales to develop business cases for brand reclassification, ensuring resources are prioritized behind brands with high AFH growth potential.• Own annual operating plan deliverables and support forecasting accuracy in collaboration with demand planning.
2. Innovation & Long-Term Strategy• Develop and drive a comprehensive 1-3-year brand growth roadmap, focusing building holistic brand growth strategies to guide product innovation and priority sales opportunities.• Closely partner and consult with retail platform, Innovation, Insights and R&D teams to validate and ensure alignment with growth strategy
• Foster relationships with Consumer Insights, R&D, Finance, and Project Management to lead commercialization of renovation and maintenance projects
• Leverage consumer insights and trends to inform innovation pipelines and strategic planning.
3. Brand Communications & Go-To-Market Strategy• Lead the development and execution of B2B media and marketing campaigns tailored for the AFH channel.• Integrate emerging brand strategy into Masterbrand B2C communications where relevant.• Deliver compelling brand narratives and partnership opportunities to drive customer engagement and new business wins.• Collaborate with customer marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent brand positioning across all touchpoints.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management• Act as the central hub for brand activity, collaborating with finance, operations, supply chain, and sales to ensure seamless execution.• Lead cross-functional workstreams with ownership mentality-ensuring alignment, accountability, and results.• Prepare and deliver presentations for executive leadership, including business unit Presidents and Platform General Managers.• Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, translating brand objectives into action plans across functions.
Required Qualifications & Skills• 5+ years of experience in Brand Management or Marketing, preferably within startup or established CPG company.• Strong analytical mindset; ability to distill complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.• Deep understanding of brand building, positioning, and go-to-market strategies within a CPG context.• Demonstrated success in cross-functional project leadership, with the ability to influence across levels and teams.• Experience managing external agencies and vendors; skilled in creative development and campaign execution.• Strong storytelling and communication skills-both written and verbal-tailored to a range of audiences including senior leadership.• Entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset with a bias for action, even in ambiguous environments.• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; adept at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.• Proficient in tools such as Nielsen/IRI, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.).

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
