POSITION: Brand Insights & Analytics Lead, US Oncology


POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. is seeking a Brand Insights & Analytics Lead, US Oncology with the following duties: lead a proactive & systematic approach to capturing & understanding brand needs for standard & ad-hoc analytics, reporting & insights generation; develop & maintain brand key performance indicators (KPIs) & provide insights to brand teams; plan & execute core analytics workstreams including targeting, segmentation, promotional analytics, & brand performance analytics, seamlessly integrating insights across workstreams; partner with market research & CI team to identify customer needs, product awareness, positioning, messaging/effectiveness & competitive landscape; stay up-to-date with industry trends & best practices in brand insights & analytics as well as field execution strategies; participate in development & consolidation of KPI & business driving metrics in support of key brand review meetings; collaborate with advanced analytics to expand insights on patient/customer journeys & predictive alerts; develop & manage expectations, highlighting & resolving issues & ensuring regular communication of process enhancements; deliver effective presentations of findings & recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, including the Head, US Insights & Analytics & US leadership team through various communication channels; transition business rules into algorithms that create data cohorts for descriptive, diagnostic, & predictive analysis; review & modify programming codes in cloud-based platforms to ensure accuracy with modeling large sets of data; process & analyze data using statistical software. Up to 20% domestic travel required to attend workshops. Up to 60% remote work allowed.


Estimated salary range reflects expected pay for this role. Actual base salary depends on the applicant’s qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, & work location, & will comply with all applicable minimum‑wage laws. U.S. employees may be eligible for medical, dental, & vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, sick leave, company holidays, incentive compensation programs, & other benefits offered under company policies.


REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 5 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience must include: analyze pharmaceutical commercial and healthcare data, including claims, prescription, and patient-level data, using SQL and Excel to generate ad hoc business insights and evaluate brand performance trends; demonstrate expertise in oncology business analytics, including patient journey analysis, line-of-therapy progression, patient persistency, and sub-national market dynamics, to evaluate commercial performance and translate business challenges into data-driven strategic recommendations; develop and maintain KPI dashboards and brand performance reports using Tableau and Excel and create executive presentations using PowerPoint to communicate actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders; perform customer segmentation, targeting, and promotional analytics using SQL and Python to evaluate prescribing trends, customer behavior, campaign effectiveness; develop predictive and statistical models using Python, including regression analysis, forecasting, and marketing mix modeling, and execute and review analytical workflows in cloud-based platforms such as Databricks to support promotional effectiveness, business planning, and decision-making.


Full time. $160,722 - $242,550 per year.
