Valere Commercial’s core focus is on business purpose loans, including but not limited to the following products: investor bridge, fix-and-flip, ground-up construction (1-4 family and multi-family), multi-family term, cross-collateralized, and builder finance.

Position Overview:

The BPL Account Manager ensures efficient loan processing and funding by leveraging various systems and tracking tools. Serving as the primary borrower liaison, the role builds lasting client relationships and coordinates with Operations, Closing, and Underwriting teams across Valere to streamline onboarding, underwriting, and closing. The BPL Account Manager verifies loan file compliance, gathers required documentation, reviews funding packages for accuracy, monitors credit utilization, and manages multiple loans simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for borrowers, cultivating long-term client relationships through consistent communication and support.
  • Review loan files to verify procedures per guidelines.
  • Coordinate onboarding, underwriting, and closing workflows to ensure efficiency and a seamless loan processing experience for the client.
  • Handle multiple loan files and client relationships simultaneously.
  • Coordinate with Closing and Underwriting teams throughout the on-boarding, underwriting and closing process.
  • Work with borrowers to ensure all proper documentation is obtained to complete the loan process.
  • Review funding packages for accuracy before submission to treasury for funding.
  • Monitor borrower’s line of credit utilization to ensure maximum utilization.
  • Provide superior customer service to consistently exceed client expectations.
  • Review and update policies procedures as needed.
  • Assist in training of new team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field, preferred.
  • 5 + years of relevant experience in the financial services and/or real estate industry.
  • Experience leading transaction teams and managing customer interactions.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM.
  • Advanced knowledge of the loan closing process.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Skilled in collaboration to support effective cross-functional coordination.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
