Job Summary
As a Boston Dynamics Consultant, you will help grow our core business by helping customers do more with our existing robotics products, advising them on how to achieve their automation and data needs using our products, and to think strategically to advance their automation needs and adoption of dynamic & intelligent systems. To do this, you will build in-depth knowledge of our robotics & software solutions and demonstrate the ability to think strategically to extract insights out of our platforms, provide world class delivery of strategy projects & workshops, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the robotics and automation landscape.
The Consultant – Boston Dynamics Consulting – works directly with external clients on paid engagements to support project leadership on the development and execution of engagements. They will learn from and synthesize insights from our Consulting leaders, product leaders and external experts to shape deliverables and guidance that help clients successfully deliver automation projects & the adoption of robotics systems. This may include strategic direction, performing complex analysis, and developing recommendations for customers in projects including client-specific “roadmap to humanoids”, operations assessments & gap analyses, VIGOR (Vision, Investment, Governance, Operational Readiness, and Resourcing) workshops to improve positive outcomes from adopting dynamic systems, business case development, and more.
*This will be a remote role, HQ is based out of Waltham, MA
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Directors & Senior Consultants to deliver analysis and strategic plans for the adoption of robotics & intelligent systems in dynamic environments.
Support the development and refinement of strategic plans by performing research and analysis on market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights in support of strategic initiatives.
Prepare executive-level presentations and strategic planning documents that summarize key findings and recommendations.
Track and report on progress against strategic objectives and KPIs.
Participate in the development of business cases and financial models.
Assist in facilitating strategic planning sessions and workshops.
Stay informed on industry developments and share insights with relevant stakeholders.

Ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, or business analysis.
Experience working in cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment preferred.
