The Arbella Billing Coordinator is a trusted individual who understands our overall business objectives and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, efficient and timely end-to-end billing and commissions processes for our customers and our Independent Agents. A successful Billing Coordinator demonstrates analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving problems and improving processes. They thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and embrace change. They are eager to learn and develop new skills, build meaningful relationships, and collaborate effectively on a team to achieve department goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Researches, analyzes and interprets policy and billing activity and proactively identifies issues.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end billing processes, procedures, controls and billing schedules.
  • Successfully learns the billing systems
  • Demonstrates functional and technical skills to ensure customer and billing activities are accurate.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing, posting, reconciliation and reporting of all billing processes.
  • Reviews billing exceptions and takes appropriate billing action
  • Builds relationships with our internal and external customers, agents, vendors, and others, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
  • Effectively communicates with internal customers and agents across multiple communication channels.
  • Collaborates effectively in a team environment and across departments.
  • Performs work with a strong attention to detail with an ability to deal with ambiguity and interpret and process complex work.
  • Exercises critical thinking to identify, assess, and appropriately escalate issues, risks or control concerns in a timely manner, while demonstrating ownership through resolution whenever possible.
  • Contributes to a positive, inclusive team atmosphere, supports overall department goals, and is active in promoting Arbella’s core values.
  • Performs other related work as required or requested.

Requirements:

  • General working knowledge of MS Office

  • Sound analytical and math skills

  • Flexible and adaptable when faced with change

  • Ability to multi task

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Quick learner, able to navigate multiple systems and products

  • Works well individually as well as a team

Our current reasonable and good faith estimate of the annual salary or hourly wage range for this position is approximately $48,000 ($25.46 an hour) - $52,000 ($27.58 an hour) based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience.
