Since 2000, we’ve partnered with brands like Uber for Business, Ibotta, Black Forest Labs, and Waabi on brand messaging, media relations, executive thought leadership, content marketing, social media, and more.

We’re looking for a B2B Social Content Creator to join our Content Studio, the in-house team of editorial, content marketing, and social talent behind our integrated programs. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves storytelling, writing, and creating visual content for social platforms.

Working across multiple B2B client teams, you’ll help shape how brands and executives show up on LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms. You’ll write and produce posts, graphics, carousels, and short videos, working with editorial and content marketing colleagues to turn complex topics, executive perspectives, and interesting ideas into compelling social content.

They're equally comfortable and experienced in producing visual content with tools such as Canva, Descript, OpusClip, or Adobe, and have the organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

LaunchSquad has a flexible, hybrid workplace with offices in San Francisco, New York, Boston, and Chicago. This position is also open to US-based remote employees.

Please include a portfolio link or examples of social content you've personally written and created. Additional examples of longer-form writing and multimedia storytelling are also welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish social content for multiple B2B clients, supporting brand and executive presence primarily on LinkedIn and X, with Instagram and other channels when they serve the strategy

  • Work with client teams to develop content ideas, identify compelling stories and formats, and determine how brands and executives should participate in conversations

  • Develop original social content from interviews, executive perspectives, research, industry news, and other source material

  • Build and manage social content calendars that bring together the story, visual approach, and production plan for each post

  • Write posts, create graphics and carousels, and produce short-form videos using tools such as Canva, Descript, OpusClip, CapCut, or Adobe

  • Work with editorial leads to turn announcements, reports, events, and other client activities into social content that is accurate, engaging, and native to each platform

  • Monitor relevant conversations, identify opportunities for engagement, and recommend ways for brands and executives to participate

  • Track content performance, identify what resonates with audiences, and recommend opportunities to amplify strong organic content through paid social

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, content marketing or editorial content creation, including hands-on experience creating content for brands or executives

  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with examples of original work across different topics, audiences, and voices. Experience writing articles, blogs, or other longer-form content is a plus.

  • Experience creating social graphics, carousels, and short videos using tools such as Canva, Descript, OpusClip, CapCut, or Adobe

  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and X, including the formats, creative approaches, and conversations that engage B2B audiences

  • Experience planning and managing social content calendars, from ideation and production through publication

  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to find compelling stories in complex subjects, interviews, reports, and other source material and turn it into engaging social content

  • Up-to-date knowledge of what makes content successful on social platforms and how to use performance insights to improve future content

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong visual instincts, curiosity about technology, and a willingness to experiment with new ideas and formats

  • Familiarity with paid social distribution, particularly on LinkedIn, and experience boosting or promoting content is a plus

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
