Job DescriptionTHE PROGRAM
We're looking for students to join our Co-Op Program who believe that sound is power. Over the 6-month co-op, you will get the opportunity to apply the skills you learned in the classroom with hands-on work experience. Our Co-Ops will get to network across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. You'll connect with other Co-Ops and colleagues to grow your network for the future!
Timeframe - Spring Co-op- Must be available January 12- June 26, 2026 and work in a hybrid work environment.
We're looking for a Project Management Co-Op to join Software Program Management Office and support our automotive product development programs. In this role the key responsibilities include the following:
- Project Coordination
- Assist the Project Managers in preparing and developing project plans using WBS methodologies
- Create and develop project milestone map with proper flow of view of the project.
- Project Tracking & Reporting
- Process Documentation - Create required documents needed for the assigned projects - mainly ASD PDP; State Machine diagrams etc.
- Develop project dashboards using project tools like Jira, Confluence to track the status of the project
- Build project metrics for various P&E projects using tools like power BI & confluence to track the overall software deliveries in the platform & experiences categories
- Risk Management
- Develop risk registers and triage them on a regular basis using the existing risk management process
- Project Execution
- Execute the project lifecycle using agile methodology using scrum/kanban board for developing, monitoring and tracking the project milestones.
- Schedule daily stand up discussions with the project team
- Schedule Scrum Planning & Retrospectives to ensure successful execution of the project planning
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should be/have:
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering
- Project / Product Management, PMO tools, Dashboards
- Understanding of Risk Management, Project Management, Change Management etc
- Professional- organizations, certifications, etc
- Soft Skills – Strong communication and teamwork skills in a global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering background
- Product Development
- Basic understanding of project management concepts
- Proficient in MS Office ( Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SmartSheet, Jira, etc.
- Problem Solving Capability
