About the Role

We’re expanding Entrupy’s authentication capabilities and launching Watches as a new vertical. As we scale this exciting new chapter, we’re seeking an experienced Watches Authentication Expert to help build and grow a world-class program for watch authentication.

We’re looking for an expert in Luxury Watch brands such as Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and TAG Heuer (and more). In this role, you’ll authenticate watches in real time, contribute to building structured knowledge systems, and help train the team on new models, materials, and evolving market trends. This is a unique hybrid role that blends deep subject-matter expertise with systems thinking and team leadership.

Your expertise in both physical and digital authentication will play a pivotal role in scaling accuracy, speed, and customer trust.

Reports to: Manager, Apparel

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor real-time customer authentications of luxury watches
  • Ensure the accuracy of internal testing and validation for new brands, models, and reference variations
  • Support the build-out of structured knowledge systems, templates, and processes to strengthen authentication and training
  • Research watch market trends, new releases, reference-level details, and common counterfeit patterns to continuously improve brand coverage
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Ops, Product, Engineering, and QA) to help systemize watch authentication workflows at scale

What you bring:

  • Expertise in authenticating luxury watches (experience in resale, pre-owned, auction, or marketplace context is a strong plus)
  • Strong eye for detail across model identification, reference nuances, components, and manufacturing consistency
  • Familiarity with structuring and organizing knowledge (taxonomies, classification systems, or content systems is a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — able to simplify complex concepts for cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing deadlines with global collaboration
  • Confident, thoughtful communicator with a passion for building a strong knowledge-first culture

We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards. Based on these factors, we expect most of the candidates offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description, as posted. If so, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
