If you are looking to take your first steps into the exciting and fast pace environment of corporate tax, come join our Transfer Pricing tax team! This Associate Tax Accountant – Transfer Pricing role will support Medtronic’s global Transfer Pricing Model.

In this exciting position, you will be working in detail with Medtronic’s operational transfer pricing model. 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for completion of operational transfer pricing setting, monitoring and adjustments.

• Prepares intercompany agreements to support intercompany transactions.

• Keeps abreast of the variances in international jurisdictions and supports plans to optimize the amount of taxes paid by the organization across these entities.

• Supports Staff with requests from external auditors and understands tax compliance.

• Prepares journal entries to support Transfer Pricing strategies.

• Calculate and implement intercompany pricing of goods between Medtronic entities.

• Draft Intercompany agreements supporting intercompany transactions of goods, services, and intellectual property.

• Prepare journal entries adjustments for intercompany transactions.

• Support Transfer Pricing team on requests from taxing authorities and auditors.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0+ years of work experience in Economics, Finance and/or Accounting

Nice to Have

• Experience in a global company as an Analyst/Accounting partner for the Operations department

• Experience with using SAP or other accounting systems

• An understanding of Supply Chain management

• An understanding of Operational/Financial/Manufacturing metrics

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$56,000.00 - $84,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
